Works just like you'd expect. VERY repeatable measurement too. The ONE TRICK I need to know was to fist place a piece of masking tape right at the target torque number my car needs. Then, to put a piece of tap on the moving part of the tool in a way that it makes a flag that almost touches the numbers. Now it's very easy to read when I have the right amount of torque.
