I just purchased this pipe wrench, and it is a fantastic tool. Every American should consider switching to this style of pipe wrench for most needs, because it really does set a better grip than our classic form. I can see occasions where that classic may be preferable, but most of the time the immediately setting grip on this tool will be preferable. There is some confusion about where this one is made. Bahco is a Swedish company owned by Snap-On, and is the premier brand of the group in Europe. Bahco makes a version of this wrench for Snap-on in Argentina. The Bahco purchased from Amazon-this tool as I received it- was made in Spain. The PWZ- series from snap-onis this wrench but with an ergonomic grip- in the Bahco brand it is sold under the 14-- line. Snap-on sells that grip and its name at a 50% markup on its website.Personally, thats not a price I can get behind. If you can get a deal from a snap-on dealer, jump on it. But if you want to pay a premium for warranty, I really wouldn't bother- you or your workpiece will break before this tool does.
