Calibration is accomplished by mechanical loading of each wrench in a horizontal position and performing a three click test at 20%, 60% and 100% of maximum instrument capacity. Certification documents traceable to N.I.S.T. (National Institute of Standards and Technology). Manufactured to meet precision/highly accurate applications such as military and aerospace.

Purchased 6 of the same for use. Had one fail at day 29 (handle blew apart) one fail at day 30 (over-torqueing). Tried to return today, Monday (day 31) and cannot process the return.Shame, as we enjoy the others, but question the longevity and accuracy of the product
