It's a little early for me to give a review on this wrench as I have only used it for a few months and have not hit the point where an equivalent Sears Craftsman would start to disintegrate. I purchased this Sunex torque wrench along with a Tekton 24335 as they seemed to be the best options at the price point. At the time of purchase the Sunex was only a few dollars more. I was surprised when they came in, because they were the same wrench - mostly. They come in identical red cases, and are physically the same. The differences are...The Sunex has a chrome finish on the part of the handle that turns, while the Tekton is painted black. The Sunex has the numbers for the torques stamped/engraved into the metal, while the Tekton has the numbers inked on.The Sunex came with a sheet that had measurements of the torque at three torque settings. They appeared to be handwritten and if honest, means the wrench was actually verified from the factory to torque within tolerance. Both wrenches have a gap where the handle slides over and is pinned to the head of the wrench. The Tekton has an o-ring that is in the interface while the Sunex has nothing. I'm not sure which is better. The Tekton might keep out more dirt, but it may trap moisture. Or it could all be moot. All in all, the Sunex is an upgraded version of the Tekton. That said, if the price is far apart, it's hard to argue that the differences are worth it. So far the inked on numbers seem to be holding up on the Tekton, which is what I see as the main difference operationally. I use these wrenches in sand, mud, and rain so I'll update when they give up the ghost.I received my Sunex torque wrench a couple of days ago. It looks like a good tool. I haven't had a chance to use it yet. The markings for the torque increments are easy to read. The adjustment handle rotates smoothly. It has a nice, solid heft. All of these are good things. The one bad thing so far is that it doesn't appear to be 10-150 ft/lbs, it appears it's actually 20-150. The cardboard sleeve around the case says 10-150, just like the description on Amazon. However, the markings only go down to 20 and the instruction manual included inside the case refers to it being 20-150. This will still work for my needs so I plan to keep it. If this torque range will work for you, it still seems like something you should consider. It gets four stars not for being a bad tool, but for not being as described, even on its own packaging.I am quite happy with the torque wrench so far. The quality looks good and it comes with a nice case. The price is great. I bought this torque wrench to use in my garage. I do most of the maintenance and repair on both of my cars. So far I've used it to torque the lug nuts on my cars at about 90 lb-ft. I haven't tried it at higher range. Operation is simple, just turn the end dial to the desired torque either in lb-ft or N-m, and the wrench clicks when the applied torque passes the dialed torque setting. It is really not that practical to use it at low torque applications because of the 1/2 inch drive and the size of the torque wrench.Seems like a well made and easy to use tool but... the product is not as described. The description on Amazon AND the product's own packaging both clearly state "10-150 ft. lbs", which is what I needed, but upon opening the package I found that the lowest setting on the tool is 20 ft lb. The instruction leaflet that comes in the box also states 20-150 ft lb, not 10-150.(An earlier reviewer spotted this too - shame I did not read all the reviews!)So, if you need to go down to 10ft lb, this is not the one for you.I probably ordered this torque wrench expecting a better value, so that's my failed expectation. As others have pointed out, it can be difficult to adjust beyond 100 ft. lbs and this makes me wonder about its accuracy. In my case I wanted it only to torque lug nuts, as I've got a high quality 3/8" drive torque wrench for those times when greater precision is required. If you are more than an occasional mechanic, I'd look to spending more money on this tool; if it is for occasional use where absolute precision is not mandatory, it's probably ok.I purchased this wrench to work on my motorcycle. I previously owned a snap on and this one isn't as finished but it is solidly built and will get the job done. No issues and for the price I'm very pleased. I would recommended it to anyone looking not to spend 4-5 times as much on a name brand.I bought this for a rebuild on my motorcycle and it worked well. I only used it in the mid-range (40-80 ft lbs) and it performed as expected. I cannot speak for the extremes, but I know torque wrenches rarely are accurate at the extreme ranges. Overall, I am happy with it.Not a mechanic, just a guy who doesn't like to pay for someone to do work on my car that I can do myself. I bought this torque wrench to do stuff in my own garage so it probably gets used considerably less than it would in a shop. I have used it for brakes and flywheel replacement and it has done what it is supposed to do. I like that it came with a case. Good value for the price.ParfaisI bought this torque wrench to replace one that had a broken mechanism. So far it's worked well.Works good and seems to be well built, will use it often when I’m fixing on equipment.Très bonne achatGood product for the price
