I've owned this exact wrench for 3 years. The spring loaded/self-adjusting "claw" has sufficient return tension to re-engage and reposition on splined inner tie rods. The length of the handle provides ample leverage; the weight and density of the wrench conveys durability.Applying this tool on hexagonal inner tie rods is not convenient. The wrench's "teeth" must fully engage the opposing corners of the hexagonal shaft area of the inner tie rod. Even then, expect this wrench to suddenly slip under intense torque while adjusting the tie rod, as any well-seasoned aligner typically experiences difficult to adjust inner tie rods.I always resort to this wrench for adjustment and counter-holding splined inner tie rods. It is that convenient.
