I recommend you check your wrench thoroughly here's why-First wrench arrived with no plastic wrapping-Battery housing lid was off the tool-No stabs on the battery housing lid-Handle of the tool had minor nics...(perhaps this was used or a returned item?)Second unit-Came in plastic wrapping-Box had inspection sheet-Plastic tool for opening battery housingWrench works great and is very accurate. It greatly out performed the old craftsman $200 digital torque wrench it replaced.Pros- Soft touch plastic handle very comfortable and slip resistant(less busted knuckles)- Length of the handle gives decent leverage it pretty easy to hit high torque values.-Beeping and vibration is useful when you can't see the lcdCon's ( ISSUES below are very MINOR and for the price MORE than acceptable!)-Battery housing design is a little funky with some patients and a gentle touch it will close and secure itself.- Internal gears on the wrench could have been finer allowing for less pull back. More degrees of motion needed before the wrench clicks and is ready to tighten.Closing thoughtsDespite the issues amazon handled everything perfectly. Tool still gets 5 stars. If could rate amazons service of delivering the tool it would be 4 stars due to the time cost.When I received this I asked for a return authorization. The battery cap on this is nearly impossible to secure, and the directions are awful. There is no excuse for poor translation in this Global Economy. I was forced to use this because the second wrench I ordered never came. Once I got the battery cap secured the wrench actually is Very Good. Seems to repeat has a calibration cert. and torques to low values. Without the battery and instruction issue, I would have rated this as five stars.Came DOA. It would turn on, but as soon as you got close to the torque spec, it would beep and shut itself off. Tried new batteries thinking that's what it was, but it kept doing the same thing.Best Torque Wrench ever.It looks like it's well built. However....it will not turn on. Changed 4 different sets of batteries and nothing. Can't find support anywhere.GoodI don’t like the fact that the torque is not working at all.
