It definitely makes a change to the car (for me a 2004 A4,B6, 1.8T, Quattro). I noticed quicker and smoother gear shifting. It does not give you much top end torque (but you can only expect so much from a 1.8L engine anyways). For what it is and has done I am hesitantly satisfied. I am certain that is is giving me better gas mileage. It certainly makes the ride more smooth. However, if I were the driver I was during my teens and early 20s I would probably be disappointed. At this point in my life I just want a smooth, zippy, and quiet car that can perform when I need it to. This chip improved and enhanced these three attributes. Again, if you are young and looking to turn your vehicle into a high performing fun toy - maybe bypass this as an option and get a more powerful ride. However, if you are looking for a slight improvement - then run it! Consider getting this chip... you can always pull it, then compare and contrast, and if it doesn’t do what you want then you can always put it in the mail and send it back....I do see improvement It does better gas mileage on my car and I got a better Zip on my takeoff . I’m satisfied with the buyI didn't like how there was no visual adjustment where I could see the benefits.
