The torque setting indication only works in the clockwise direction (right hand threads) so no use for work on bicycles etc. where several left hand threads need to be torqued to a specific setting :(The ratchet mechanism feels somewhat clunky and the rubber seal between the head and the lever/handle was not seated correctly.Overall the quality was pretty bad - upon opening the plastic case the first time the ratchet was in a plastic bag but the handle was already badly scratched!!There are several 1/2" Torque wrenches considerably cheaper than this on Amazon which are much better made/quality e.g. S&R (also indication only in clockwise direction).I have returned this product to Amazon.
